NRM Assett has been a popular addition in feed rooms across NZ for many years, as a highly palatable and nutritious feed for young growing horses. With the help of our technical partners Kentucky Equine Research, NRM have improved the Assett formulation to provide the following:

 

• Lower starch formulation to assist with supporting healthy growth rates and reducing the risk of developmental orthopaedic disease.
• The addition of KER Equi-Jewel high fat conditioning supplement for optimum conditioning.
• The inclusion of Buffered Mineral Complex from Kentucky Equine Research. BMC has been shown in research studies conducted by KER to serve as a potent buffer in both the stomach and large intestine, and as a key component of a new supplement shown to increase bone density in young working horses and weanlings.
• Lower starch, higher fat and fibre formulation means Assett is also an ideal feed for young racehorses starting work, racing two-year-olds, and hard-working performance horses.
